MANAGE YOUR FOOTUT DATA
You can request deletion of specific data types or your complete FooTut account. This page explains the available options, how to submit a request, and what happens after deletion starts.
1. SELECTIVE DATA DELETION
You can request deletion of specific types of data while keeping your FooTut account active:
- Clear booking and game history
- Delete uploaded photos and images
- Remove location preferences and data
- Clear team associations and memberships
- Delete communication history
- Export your data before deletion
To request selective data deletion, email privacy@footut.com with "Selective Data Deletion" as the subject. Specify exactly which data types you want deleted and include your registered email address and username. Please allow 7-14 business days for processing.
2. FULL ACCOUNT DELETION
You can request complete account deletion in the following ways:
- In-App: Open the FooTut mobile app, go to Profile or Settings, choose Account Settings, then Delete Account.
- Email: Send a deletion request to privacy@footut.com from your registered email address.
- Contact Form: Use our support contact form with "Delete Account" as the subject.
Please include your registered email address and username in your deletion request.
3. WHAT GETS DELETED
- Your profile information, account settings, and authentication data
- Your booking, game, training, and sparring history where deletion is legally permitted
- Your uploaded photos, location preferences, team associations, and communication history where deletion is legally permitted
4. WHAT MAY BE RETAINED
Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, or payment compliance purposes. Retained records are limited to what is necessary and are handled according to the FooTut Privacy Policy.
5. DELETION TIMELINE
- Account deactivation: Immediate after the deletion request is verified.
- Data deletion from active systems: Within 30 days.
- Backup systems: Data removed within 90 days.
- Final confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation when deletion is complete.
6. IMPORTANT NOTES
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- You will lose access to all bookings, teams, and tournament registrations.
- Other users will no longer see your profile or past interactions.
- Any pending payments or refunds should be resolved before deletion.
If you only want to temporarily stop using FooTut, consider deactivating your account instead of deleting it.
